Y-Pattern Choke
This right-angle body is available for all of our valve sizes. It typically uses weld end connections, which allows for versatility because numerous types of end connections as well as dimensions can be accommodated.
This inline body is available on small-to-medium-sized valves. End connections are typically integrally cast. Streamlined passages within the choke direct the flow from the inlet end connection to the trim inlet and from the trim outlet to the outlet end connection.
This inline choke body is available in one valve size only and typically has threaded end connections.

Stem-Lock Mechanism

For manually operated valves, an optional stem-lock mechanism is available to lock the trim in any position

HPHT Service

High-pressure, high-temperature reservoir conditions require careful design and material selection for pressure-retaining components and seals. We currently have valves suitable for pressures to 15000 PSIG and temperatures to 350°F. Continuing research and development activities are further expanding our capabilities in this area.

High-Pressure Service

Valves suitable for pressures up to 10000 or 15000 PSIG with temperatures limited to 250°F are available in a variety of standard sizes

High-Temperature Service

Valves designed for high-temperature service are available in a variety of sizes and styles. Temperature ratings up to 850°F and pressures to 6000 PSIG can be accommodated in either manual or automated operation. These valves are typically used in applications such as steam injection and steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD)

Low-Temperature Service

Valves suitable for service temperatures as low as -150°F are available. The use of appropriate materials is critical in such applications.

Highly Corrosive Service

For applications that are highly corrosive and require superior materials, valves are available to API-6A material class HH (corrosion-resistant alloys).

Highly Erosive Service

For flow conditions that result in severe erosion, we have custom-designed chokes available that reduce flow velocities and valve wear.
