Environmental Chamber

Our in-house controlled-temperature facility is used to perform testing in accordance to API-6A Appendix-FPR2 and API-17D specifications as well as to support other research-and development projects where testing at temperature is paramount. The Equipment includes:

• An environmental chamber with cooling and heating facilities capable of maintaining low temperatures to -60F and high temperatures in excess of 650 F. This allows for testing to API temperature classifications L,P,R,S,T,U,V,X, and Y.

• Full-pressure-range capabilities for valves and actuators when subjected to temperature-classification extremes.
• Computer-based data-acquisition equipment to continuously monitor and record temperatures and pressures as well as equipment operating characteristics throughout testing procedures.
